As we all know, spring is most common for severe weather. In order to keep your family and yourself safe, you should have a plan in the event of severe weather. Please see the links below for information on preparing as the City does not have designated storm shelters. Additionally, if you are a citizen of Royse City and are not receiving IRIS alerts, please contact the Utility Department at 972-636-2250. This service provides messages, texts and/or emails in the event of weather warnings. Also, anyone can sign up for Rockwall County Nixle at http://nixle.com/register/. This service is used through the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office and sends out warnings via texts.
