The Royse City Police Department provides assistance to victims who may have suffered physical injuries or trauma as a result of a violent crime. Our advocates work with victims of sexual assault, robbery, assault, traffic crimes and families of homicide victims. Our goal is to help empower victims to re-establish their lives and lessen the negative impact of the emotional, physical, psychological or financial trauma that many may experience.
The Crime Victims’ Compensation (CVC) Program helps crime victims and their immediate families with the financial costs of crime. CVC covers crime-related costs such as counseling, medical treatment, funerals, and loss of income not paid by other sources.
