American Medical Response Launches New 911 Emergency Service in Royse City
Strengthening Emergency Response as Royse City Enters Its Next Phase of Growth
ROYSE CITY, Texas (January 6, 2026) — Having nearly doubled its population since the 2020 census, Royse City is expanding quickly—and with growth comes a simple reality: more residents mean more 911 medical calls. American Medical Response (AMR), a division of Global Medical Response (GMR), is proud to announce that beginning January 1, AMR is providing 911 ambulance services in Royse City, marking a new era of high-quality 911 emergency response for the community.
Backed by GMR’s extensive network of resources, AMR brings decades of EMS experience to Royse City, helping to ensure the community’s emergency medical services keep pace with increasing demand.

AMR will deliver around-the-clock 911 emergency medical services, staffed by highly trained paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMT). The operation will include a fleet of advanced life support (ALS) ambulances ready to provide dependable care for nearly 29,000 residents.
