City Lake Park is the City’s premier park. At approximately 13 acres, it contains a new playground and brand new fishing pier. It was constructed in 2014, and includes a four-acre catch-and-release lake, a gazebo, a half-mile walking/jogging trail, and lots of open space. This is the site of a favorite community event hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department, the youth fishing derby.
