James Branch has been a member of the Rockwall County and Royse City Community since 2001. Branch and his wife Katie have been together since 2009 and have 3 boys. All the boys graduated from Royse City ISD where Branch was actively involved doing everything from calling football games on NFHS to helping set up the run through during varsity football games to cooking meals before games. Branch has served the Royse City Community on numerous boards like Parks and Recreation, Planning and Zoning working his way up to Vice Chairman and then Chairman for several years before being elected to the City Council in 2009. Branch has served as Deputy Mayor Tem as well as Mayor Pro Tem and continues to serve as a councilman today. Branch currently serves on the Rockwall County Emergency Services Corporation as the Secretary and the Rockwall County Transportation Consortium Board representing Royse City and Precinct 4. It has been an honor and privilege to serve this community. Branch is a proud Conservative, which he takes great pride in when representing the community. Branch has served on the Royse City Chamber of Commerce Board as well as coached football for the Royse City Youth Association. After Branch stopped coaching he volunteered his time calling the youth football games for several years.
In his professional life, Branch has owned multiple businesses over the past 25 years serving not only the Royse City and Caddo Mills Areas but also the DFW Metroplex. Branch prides himself on always being open and transparent in everything he does and standing up for what he believes is right whether it is the popular position or not.
