Monthly Programs

  • Garden Club
    The Royse City Garden Club meets at the library on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10 am.  Please join us.
  • Book Club
    The Royse City Book Club meets at the library on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 11:30 am.

Weekly Storytimes

Numbered tickets are required to participate in the weekly storytimes! These tickets will be given out at the front desk on a first come, first served basis starting an hour before storytime. Limited seating for 10 participating kids each storytime. Each storytime is geared towards a targeted age; please attend the appropriate storytime for your child's age.

  • Toddler Storytime (Ages 2 - 3 only) Monday 11 am - 12pm
    Toddlers are moving and dancing! Quick songs, short books, felt board rhymes, and easy crafts geared for ages 2-3 only.
  • Preschool Storytime (Ages 3 - 5 only) Wednesday 11 am - 12pm
    Slow and longer-paced books, songs, dances, felt-board activities, and creative crafts geared for older kids ages 3-5 only. 
  • Love on a Leash, R.E.A.D. Program  (Children read to therapy dogs)
    Reading therapy dogs from Love on a Leash are specially trained to comfort your child when they get frustrated reading. Reading is all about practice and feeling comfortable in a non-judgmental setting. The children will read to the therapy dog and handler in the Storytime room. Sign up for a 15 minute session once a month at the Front Desk. (September - May)

There is no programming during the month of August and the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
