Getting A Library Card
Library cards are free of charge to residents of Royse City, Rockwall County, RCISD employees, and City of Royse City employees. All other applicants will be charged a one-time $20 fee per library card. No debit/credit cards are accepted.
Guidelines for Obtaining a Library Card
- Library cards are done in-person at the front desk. Cards will not be issued the last 30 minutes of the business day.
- Proof of residency (such as a utility bill) as well as photo identification must be presented with the application.
- Children aged 17 and under signing up for a library card must have a parent or guardian present with a library card in good standing at the C.F. Goodwin Public Library.
- The cost for a replacement library card is $3, and photo identification is required.
- Library cards expire every 3 years and can be renewed in-person or by phone.
