The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Royse City Police Department has the responsibility of investigating criminal offenses, collecting and examining evidence, and working with the County and District Attorneys for the successful prosecution of crimes committed in the city of Royse City. Each detective receives training in a wide variety of topics, which makes them very versatile and able to investigate any type of crime. Detectives investigate leads, develop suspects and file appropriate charges with the Dallas County District Attorney for prosecution.
