Fire Hydrant Meters

Contractors renting a fire hydrant meter from the City of Royse City are required to pay a deposit of $2500.00 per meter.

Projects MUST BE within the City Limits of Royse City, with the exception of Verandah and Valor Farms.

CUSTOMER-OWNED METERS

Contractors using their own meter are required to pay a deposit of $175.00 per meter. A backflow test performed within the last year by a licensed backflow tester must be provided for each meter.

METER READINGS

It is the contractor's responsibility to provide the meter reading and meter serial# to Public Works EVERY MONTH while the meter is in their possession.

The contractor may email a current picture of the meter reading and meter serial# to publicworks@roysecity.com or bring the meter for an in person reading at 100 W Main St., Royse City, Tx 75189.
